Lexi, a struggling young mom, has the opportunity to become a registered nurse. But on the day of her big interview, her estranged father reveals the news of her mother’s ailing health. Lexi must decide whether to reconnect with family, in hopes it may help her with a letter of recommendation or protect the life she has created with her son, Tyler. In doing so, she must confront her difficult past, all while introducing her son to her childhood home.
