Suntory Minus 196 EXTREME Vending Machine

From 15 October, Vodka Partner Suntory Minus 196 will be bringing its Extreme Japanese Spirit to the SXSW Sydney Premium Partner Zone, with an activation of epic proportions.

Standing 12 metres tall, the larger-than-life Suntory Minus 196 EXTREME Vending Machine will offer a unique experience on each level.

Starting on ground floor, the Minus 196 Double Lemon Garden is the perfect spot to bask in the sun with a bevvy in hand. Traverse through to the first floor to explore the inner workings of the brand's proprietary Freeze Crush Infusion technology. The wildly popular Japanese RTD is created by freezing whole fruit at a blistering minus 196 degrees, which is then crushed to powder and infused with Shochu and Vodka – in a meeting of innovative technology and unmistakably intense flavour.

Finally, venture up to the final floor of the vending machine to discover a rooftop bar with stunning views of Tumbalong Park and Darling Harbour.

The Suntory Minus 196 EXTREME Vending Machine will be serving Double Lemon and Double Grape all week, alongside a delicious menu of all your favourite Japanese snacks. A DJ will also make home in the vending machine, blasting tunes to bring the good vibes while you enjoy a crisp can of Minus 196.

The activation will be open every day from midday until 10pm throughout the duration of SXSW Sydney (15-22 October 2023) at Tumbalong Park.
