Pre-pandemic, Australia saw uninterrupted economic growth for nearly 30 years, underpinned by a mining boom. If Australia is going to hand over to the next generation of Australians a country with more opportunity and increasing living standards, it will need to diversify and find a new continuous ‘boom’. The tech sector is already starting to provide that next boom and if we get it right Australia can be a global tech powerhouse driving prosperity for the next 30 years. What is our strategy as a nation, and what are the key components needed?
