This year marks the 101st anniversary of the Motion Picture Association, which is the global voice for the film, television, and streaming industry. The Asia-Pacific screen industry, which drives growth in the international box office and in the global online video market, has surpassed expectations in recent years, emerging from the pandemic to satisfy audience demand for incredible content. In 2022, China, Japan, and India claimed the top three spots in the international box office. Films and series from the region achieved critical acclaim, and international streaming services added millions of Asian subscribers.
