Sam Cable is a vibrant writer who specialises in stories for video games and animation. Her creative practice sits at the alchemy of optimism and storytelling—with the ambition to unearth the stronger side of humanity. She is Co-Founder & Creative Director of the Australian indie video game collective called ‘Spoonful of Wonder’ where she is the writer of their debut game ‘Copycat’. Sam’s creative portfolio has won her title of 'Young Creative of the Year' at ADC Europe 2018. She has been invited to speak about video game narratives as a panellist at PAX Melbourne and Local Lounge speaker at GCAP 2023. Sam holds a Masters in Screenwriting from the Australian Film Television and Radio School where she has returned as a guest lecturer. Sam is a 2023 award jury member for the gaming category of the Art Directors Club in New York.
