Simon is the Director of Information and Assistance at the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman. He is passionate about helping small and family businesses prevent and resolve disputes and has a particular expertise in focussing disputing parties on their long term interests and preserving their business relationships through resolving their disputes collaboratively. Through Simon’s experience in working in various departments and agencies, he has a unique understanding of how they work, and is able to support small and family business owners navigate complex systems to get the right information at the right time.
Simon’s team recently celebrated the milestone of supporting over 40,000 requests for assistance from Australian small and family business owners, with his team crucial in supporting the Ombudsman’s mission of Australia being the best place to start, grow or transform a business.
