Matthew Imhoff

Matthew is a Technical Delivery Manager at UTS Rapido, an innovation hub specialising in AI, data science and mechatronics at the University of Technology Sydney. He previously spent seven years at the University of Sydney's Australian Centre for Field Robotics, where he worked on robotic applications for the agricultural industry, visiting rural communities in four states to test and showcase farming robots. He is currently the chair of the New South Wales chapter of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society.

Matthew's other interests include the potential for technology to achieve social impact. A long-time volunteer leader for Engineers Without Borders Australia, he now serves on the IEEE Humanitarian Technologies Board.
