Australian Museum Curator for Climate Change

Dr Jenny Newell is the Curator for Climate Change at the Climate Solutions Centre (CSC), Australian Museum, Sydney.
At the CSC she works to advance understanding and engagement in the climate crisis, through exhibitions, events, publications and cross-disciplinary and community collaborations. With a background in environmental history and a focus on the Pacific and Australia, she has used her curatorial roles in London, Canberra, New York and Sydney to explore and advance positive human-nature relationships. Her recent exhibitions are 'Future Now' and 'Spark: Australian innovations tackling climate change. Her books include the co-edited volumes 'Curating the Future' and 'Living with the Anthropocene'.

How can we create better public engagement in climate change? Come share your thoughts at an easy-going campfire Meet Up. A rare opportunity to meet people across diverse fields with the shared aim of capturing public interest in climate solutions. This session is a chance for us to discuss challenges, share ideas and spark inspiration. For climate communicators from any sector, any career stage - all welcome.
