Yatu Widders-Hunt

General Manager, Cox Inall Ridgeway

Yatu Widders Hunt has proud Dunghutti and Anaiwan heritage and has a background in PR and communications. She is currently the General Manager at First Nations social change agency, Cox Inall Ridgeway (CIR). Having worked for many years in the government sector, she is passionate about driving policy and social change, through effective communications and engagement. At CIR, Yatu leads a lot of the communications and creative projects including on health promotion, engagement initiatives and storytelling and PR support.
 
As a former journalist, Yatu developed a strong interest in the Indigenous fashion and arts sector and is the founder of the online Australian Indigenous Fashion community. She is also on the Board of the Australian Fashion Council and speaks regularly on issues of First Nations representation and leadership in the media and social justice sectors.
