Derek is the resident technology evangelist for the Salesforce Innovation Centre based in Australia. With 25 years of experience in the technology industry, Derek has held various roles in software development, product management, consulting, solutions engineering, and product marketing. He has a keen eye for tech trends and customer success, and he leverages this knowledge to facilitate executive briefings, workshops, speaking engagements, and customer meetings. He is passionate about making work simpler, more pleasant, and more productive, and enjoys experimenting with his own work-life balance. He is proud to work for one of the most admired and caring companies in the world.

His current focuses are the Future of Work and Generative AI.

Besides his professional engagements, Derek is a passionate supporter of the Circle the Schools program in Australia, which aims to bridge the education gap caused by disadvantages.
