How New Technology Is Powering the Evolution of Story in Film

MON, OCT 16, 3:30 PM
Conference
The impact of virtual production, AI content generation tools and real time media has dramatically changed the screen industry. Listen to the panel of filmmakers, technologists and writers as they explore the opportunities, explain the challenges and pull apart the current business models and industry norms. Deep dive into how the convergence of all of these technologies and how they will fundamentally change how we create and consume media as well as how they will affect jobs in the industry. Hear from an AWGIE Award- winning writer on how this changes the creative approach. The importance of strong character development, plot structure and story arcs are clearly realised, as we shift into a trans-media world. Audiences want to be involved in this new media landscape, with interactive content which is tailored and customised to their tastes. The panel will divulge how the new technology platforms can achieve this and also how planning your content to take advantage of these new paradigms will be vital to a successful project. Moderated by Big Brother host and all-round frontman, Mike Goldman, this session is set to be as entertaining as it is informative.
