James joined URBNSURF in 2019, playing a key role in the opening of both URBNSURF Melbourne and URBNSURF Sydney—two of the world's leading surf parks. He has spearheaded initiatives in corporate and school programs, product development, partnerships, and the first WSL Qualifying Series events held at a surf park. James also hosts Lipped the Surfers Podcast, which has amassed over a million downloads and featured interviews with surf icons like Mick Fanning, Taylor Steele, and Lakey Peterson.
