Iggy Jovanovic

Iggy Jovanovic is the CEO and Founder of Gerford AI, a global sportstech company using Computer Vision and AI to track athletes and in-game performances. Started during Covid (2021), Gerford AI was the world’s first sportstech company to generate remote sport analytics i.e. not required to be at the venue with any humans or hardware but only requiring a broadcast feed or stream in order to analyse the match. We mainly target Emerging Sports (Tier 2 and 3 sports) including table tennis, volleyball and esports (Sim Racing), and soon expanding into horse racing and boxing. 

We recently enjoyed a successful 2024 Paris Olympics with USA Swimming, where Gerford AI helped Team USA finish #1 with 28 medals (8 x Gold, 13 Silver, 7 Bronze) and generating an additional US$697.5k in bonus fees for the swimmers. Additionally, we assisted David Beckham’s esports team, Guild Esports move from global ranking of #72 to #22 during the 8-week Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia. 

Previously worked 7 years as Head of Digital and Leasing Exec for Scentre Group, and prior to that with ATP Tennis for 11 years as Global Director of PR & Communications where he worked for many years with Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Rafa Nadal, Andre Agassi, and numerous others greats. 

Being on the road so much, he mentors 8 x professional athletes from different countries in the sport of table tennis, who are all ranked in the top 25 and aiming to be #1 and/or Gold medalists in LA2028.
