Charmaine is an accomplished Institutional Banker, Podcaster and Community Leader with over a decade of experience in the dynamic world of banking as well as community development with an acute skill in identifying synergies in interconnected environments and simplifying complex problems to formulate meaningful solutions. Beyond her professional pursuits, Charmaine is deeply committed to making a positive and lasting impact in the community. A recognized leader, she is at the helm of the Incubate Foundation, nurturing young talent, and has been instrumental in shaping policy as an advisor to the Victorian Government. Her community spirit is evident in the founding of Blacks in Technology Australia, a platform fostering diversity, inclusion and innovation in the Tech sector, as well as a Committee Member for FINSIA’s Young Finance Professionals. Beyond the boardroom, Charmaine is a passionate advocate for social change. As a co-architect of the #AfricanGangs Movement and a key contributor to the African Australian Communities Task Force, she has been instrumental in building bridges and fostering understanding. Her commitment to youth empowerment is exemplified by the creation of the VIC African Australian Student Conference as well as the acclaimed Amari Gala. A skilled communicator, Charmaine's media prowess is further demonstrated as the host of the multi award-nominated podcast, "Can We Talk About It?!", where she tackles pressing issues affecting the Australian Black Diaspora. Charmaine's work embodies the belief that individuals can be catalysts for positive change. Her unique blend of business acumen and social consciousness makes her a compelling figure in today's interconnected world.
