Lesley Seebeck

Lesley has one of Australia’s foremost experts in the intersection of complex systems, strategic policy and technology, with particular focus on cyber security, quantum technology and defence industry. She is co-founder of Geomastery Advisory and Strategic Analysis Australia, an accomplished author, a mentor to CIOs, CISOs and CTOs and has extensive experience in strategy, policy, management, budget, information technology and research in the Australian Government, industry and academia. Lesley has held senior roles in the Departments of Finance, Defence, and

the Prime Minister and Cabinet, the Bureau of Meteorology, Digital Transformation Agency, Office of National Intelligence, and as an IT and management consultant in private industry and at two universities, including the ANU where she was the CEO of the Cyber Institute. Lesley is a member of the audit committees of the Department of Industry, Science and Resources, Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water and IP Australia; and recently served on Australia’s Naval Shipbuilding Advisory Board. She has a PhD in information technology and complex systems, an MBA, a Masters in Defence Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science (Physics).
