Paul Hunyor

Wollemi Capital Managing Director and Co-Founder

Paul brings over 20 years of experience as an investor and operator in climate impact, private equity and venture capital. In 2021, he co-founded Wollemi Capital, a global climate specialist investment firm which invests in the businesses and projects which aim to make the net-zero future a reality.

Paul has been at the forefront of corporate venture investing in climate solutions. As the former Head of Asia Pacific and Australia for BCG Digital Ventures, the corporate VC arm of the Boston Consulting Group, Paul co-founded BCG Green Ventures.

He also helped launch Singapore’s voluntary carbon credits marketplace, led a global agribusiness investment into a carbon measurement platform for scope 3 emissions, and co-founded the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) first ever venture in food traceability.

Paul’s early career spans from late-stage private equity at Archer Capital to co-founding a venture capital firm at Folklore Ventures Fund 1. He also founded a start-up that became Australia’s largest independent energy broker.

Paul is the former Co-Chair of the WEF Committee on Sustainable Consumption. Currently, he serves on the Board of Governors at the WWF Australia and the Board of the Investment Committee for Innovation and Science Australia’s Entrepreneur’s Programme. He is also a member of the Mt Wilson branch of the Rural Fire Service.

Paul has a dual master’s (MBA and MPA) from Harvard.
