Clare is a sustainable fashion activist and storyteller. With a background in journalism, she was the first ever Vogue sustainability editor (for Vogue Australia, from 2018–20). Based on her book of the same name, Clare's podcast, Wardrobe Crisis, investigates the fashion industry’s impact on people and the planet. Now in its 9th series, it has nearly 2 million downloads. She also produces and co-hosts the United Nations' Ethical Fashion podcast with Simone Cipriani. Clare is the author of four books including Rise & Resist: How to Change the World (2018), exploring a new wave of activism. Her new book, Wear Next (2023) asks, what sort of fashion future do we want to build?
