About
Glenise Coulthard AM is an Adnyamathanha woman from the Northern Flinders Ranges who brings a wealth of experience, with over 45 years in the SA Government public sector, specialising in education and health services in regional and remote areas. She holds the distinction of being Australia’s longest-serving Director on the Board of the Royal Flying Doctor Service Central Operations, spanning 20 plus years. Glenise is a recipient of a Churchill Fellowship in 1996, travelling to New Zealand and the United States to view First Nations Children and Women’s Programs. With a calm and considered approach to her leadership roles, Glenise enjoys building opportunities for remote communities through applied on-ground research, innovation and community development, while ensuring the inclusion of Aboriginal people’s voices in decision-making. Glenise is Deputy Chair of Ninti One Limited Board, a position she has held for the past 16 years, Director on the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network Board and SA Housing Authority. Glenise also volunteers her time on the Board of Nature Foundation in SA. Now retired, Glenise enjoys spending quality time with her Grandson and pursuing her passion for the documentation of Australia’s First Nations Languages through her position on The Living First Language Platform Co.
