Jay Knapp

Producer, Made in West Creative

Jay Knapp is a Producer with Made in the West Creative, and has a keen interest in film (short form comedies and documentaries) and television (drama), particularly the pre and post production process. Since 2012, Jay has helped organise and host the annual Made in the West Film Festival for Western Sydney filmmakers, elevating stories and practitioners from the region as Event Coordinator. With a Bachelor of Communications from Western Sydney University and a varied background in hospitality, not-for-profit, health and politics, Jay understands the importance of connection and conversation. Possessing a keen interest in Indigenous affairs and culture, Jay is also passionate about social justice and helping contribute to the growing sense of agency and determination for First Nations Australians.
