Evie Irie

About
A dual U.S. and Australian citizen, Evie Irie has had a fantastical musical journey, and at 21 years old, it is getting started. Signed to a major record deal with Republic Records at 16, Evie and her parents packed up their family home on the NSW Central Coast and moved to Los Angeles. Her debut EP, '5 Weeks in LA', was released in June 2019 and currently has over 30 million streams. Touring quickly followed, with sold-out headline shows in L.A., N.Y., and Sydney, as well as arena tour supports with Sigrid and Bastille - all before Evie turned 17. "I've been so lucky. I've gotten to work with the industry's top producers and songwriters: Greg Kurstin (Adele, 'Hello'), Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles, 'Watermelon Sugar'), Rick Nowels (Lana Del Rey, 'Summertime Sadness'), Chris Braide (Sia, 'Unstoppable'), and Rami Yacoub (Britney Spears, '...Baby One More Time'). Many of my songs have also been synced to television and movies. I have truly had experiences I could never have imagined as a young 12-year-old guitar player writing songs in my room." Evie was part of the first national arena tour in Australia after the pandemic in 2021/2022 as the main support act for Amy Shark, where she received rave reviews. At 19, Evie moved back to L.A. independently to explore her youth beyond music, living in a small studio apartment in Hollywood. Now back in Australia and just 21 years old, Evie says, "It feels like I've fallen in love with music all over again. These new songs are like the soundtrack and stories of my life and experiences. I feel so passionate about the music I've made and am so excited to share it and see where this wonderful, wild journey take me next."
