About

Ané is the NextGen Philanthropy Lead at UNICEF Australia.
She led the creation of the first ever official Australian Youth Statement to be submitted to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Youth Constituency as part of official negotiations at COP26 in October 2021.
In 2023 she was part of the UNFCCC LCOY Youth Leadership Team and a lead writer on the 2023 Australian National Youth Statement on Climate and travelled around Australia leading consultations with young people to gather their insights in the lead-up to COP28.
Ané has attended multiple high-level international negotiations which affect youth including as an Australian youth representative to the 2024 United Nations Economic and Social Council Youth Forum, 18th United Nations Climate Change Conference of Youth and COP28.
She has been listed as a Young Woman to Watch by Young Australians in International Affairs in 2021 and received the University of Sydney Women’s College Community Impact Award in 2022.
