Caris Bizzaca

Caris Bizzaca is a content creator, journalist, podcast producer, author and emerging screenwriter working on unceded Gadigal Land in Sydney. With more than 17 years' experience as a journalist, researcher and interviewer, her writing has appeared in major mastheads including The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and Herald Sun, and she has worked with Australian Associated Press (AAP), AFTRS and NFSA. As the in-house Content Producer at Screen Australia, she pioneered the Screen Australia Podcast and was creator/producer/editor/host of more than 100 episodes as well as managing editorial output on their online publication Screen News. In the screen industry, she has worked in television writers' rooms as a note-taker for companies including See-Saw Films, Easy Tiger Productions, Wooden Horse, Goalpost Pictures and more. Her short story 'Healed' was published in the 2023 anthology Soak by Brio Books and she holds a Master of Arts (Creative Writing) from UTS.
