Zarmeen is a values-based investment executive with over 28 years’ experience within ESG, sustainability, impact investing and gender lens investing, across both private and public markets. She is the Managing Director of an Impact and ESG advisory firm - Sustainable Contracting Services, and was formerly the Co-Founder, General Partner and Chief Impact Officer at SDGx Ventures, a VC and Advisory firm. She previously held the role as the Oceania Regional Adviser to the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) and serves as a Non-Executive Director on a variety of for purpose boards. Her previous senior executive roles included Executive Director - Strategy at Pengana Capital, COO and Head of Product Development at MIR Investment Management and was the Impact Fund manager for DFAT, supporting female entrepreneurship across SE Asia and is a gender lens investing expert.
