About
David is an award-winning writer and academic. He works in the field of global justice, inequality, and democracy. He is fascinated by complex interaction between ethics and politics in the ‘real’ world and how the former can improve the latter. David is currently a Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Sydney, Fellow of the Ethics Centre, and Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for International Policy Studies. He was previously a Senior Lecturer at City, University of London and a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the University of Cambridge. To date he has published Global Poverty, Injustice, and Resistance with Cambridge University Press, as well as articles in International Affairs, International Theory, Human Rights Quarterly, Raisons Politiques, and Politics. He has published public-facing work in Aeon, The Conversation, Metro, and 24 Minutes. He often appears on television, radio, and podcasts toas a commentator on politics, international relations, and public ethics.
