About
Mark Barry has been raised around and actively involved in theatre pretty much his whole life. After finishing high school in the Blue Mountains he moved to Sydney to pursue his dream of acting and studied at Actors Centre Australia (ACA). At ACA, he played a number of roles including Boris in ‘Children of the Sun’ and the title role in ‘Hamlet’, directed by Adam Cook. He has since performed in ‘Much Ado About Nothin’ (Bar'dwork) as Benedick and ‘Waiting for Godot’ (ACA Company) as Vladimir. Other credits include ‘Moby Dick’ (Sport for Jove), ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore’ (The Company), ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ (Joining the Dots Theatre Company), 'The Lovely Bones’ (New Theatre), ‘Sivvy Plath's Birthday Present’ (Lost Voices), ‘Truly Gone Fishing’ (Rock Lobstar Productions) and ‘Othello’ (Streamed Shakespeare).
