Sami Shah is an award-winning writer, comedian, and broadcaster whose unique voice blends humor, social commentary, and keen observation. Born and raised in Pakistan, he began his career as a stand-up comedian in Karachi, where he pioneered the local comedy scene; challenging societal norms and politics though satire. Moving to Australia, Sami is now a fixture on the Australian comedy and media landscape. He has performed on stages across the country, including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and regularly appears on ABC Radio. As a broadcaster, he has hosted and co-hosted numerous shows, including the hit podcast News Weakly, where he dissects global news events with humor and critical insight.
