The brand chalks the journey of the saree from the weaver to the wearer, from the artist to the stylist. Five Pleats by Poornima Menon takes you through the by lanes of India where the artisans weave, handprint and embroider this six-yard wonder with love. Sarees have emotional connections, and she wraps a truckload of memories in her ‘anchal’ or the pallu as we call it.
