BVT – "Lalaki"

Australia

An ode to the golden era of pre-colonial/Indigenous Philippines. Recognising queer ancestry, Lalaki pays homage to those who have tread previously, while celebrating Filipinx today as future ancestors. Pre-colonial queer leaders and history are lensed through contemporary fantasy to explore the diasporic Filipinx experience.
