ONEFOUR: Against All Odds
ONEFOUR: Against All Odds
Australia
Join us for the World Premiere of Gabriel Gasparinatos' documentary about Australian drill rap pioneers ONEFOUR.
A group of Sydney-based, Pacific Islander kids start recording drill raps to avoid a life of crime. Two years into their meteoric rise, a police task force shuts down their sold-out national tour due to concerns that the group’s music will incite violence.
A panel discussion will follow the screening with director Gabriel Gasparinatos, Erin Moy, Christopher Kevin (AKA 24 Carat Kev), Annabelle Herd (ARIAS) and Ricky Simandjuntak (ONEFOUR's manager), moderated by Alexei Toliopoulos.
Doors open at 6.30pm. Please note there will be no pre-sale or rush tickets available for this screening.
