Penned by a diverse mix of emerging and established Australian writers, Erotic Stories is an anthology that changes the narrative of what sex and intimacy look like today. Each episode is driven by characters not traditionally seen as sexual leads. Be it gay, living with disability, non-binary, middle-aged and/or people of colour, Erotic Stories spotlights diverse points of view, with a non-judgemental attitude and a shameless lust for all things erotic - no matter how unconventional. This session screens two episodes from the series: in The Deluge, Cara focuses more on her best friend than her own sexual drought. But when she decides to put herself out there, it causes unforeseen ripples. In Powerful Owl, Kiarra and Drew (both Indigenous) are about to embark on a long-distance relationship. The couple have a strong sensual bond, but how will their connection survive when physicality is taken out of the equation? SBS’s Erotic Stories, an anthology of erotic and intimate stories told from fresh perspectives, with cast and crew in attendance. This session will be followed by a Q & A with key creatives.
